Not sure whether to switch to Body Shop range? Also is it necessary to use a 3 step thing or 2 step like face wash and moisturise? At the moment I just use a face wash? Also the body shop have two face washes.. a foaming one and another one which should I use? If not Body Shop any other good brands? Am in the UK by the way! Thank you very much! How good is The Body Shop tea tree range for kind of oily and spotty skin? Would you recommend it?
Origins found in John Lewis, trust me its the best thing ive ever used.
I use to suffer with really oily skin, blackheads and breakouts until i tryed Origins face wash cleanser, toner, moistruiser and exfoliater twice a week. I started to notice a difference in a week. Ive now been using Origins for two weeks and my face has cleared up so much its like a miracle. The only problem with Origins is quite expensive. A cleanser facewash, toner, moistruiser and exfoliater all cost me about 60.00 pounds but its well worth it. Look on the website www.origins.co.uk or www.origins.com to speak to a adviser on what products will be best for you.
If you dont want to spend that much i do think body shop products are ok ive used them myself they did work but not as good as Origins. As long as you buy a face wash cleanser, toner and moistruiser, exfoliate twice a week you should start to see a difference. If you use just a face wash your not going to get anywhere. You do really need to cleanse, tone and moistruise AM and PM. If this oily skin is a real problem for you and you take good care do the dailymroutines and making sure you exfoliate once or twice a week you will see a difference. How good is The Body Shop tea tree range for kind of oily and spotty skin? I've been using tea tree oil and tea tree soap from The Body Shop for at least ten years. It is the one and only thing that cleared my skin from acne. It honesty did wonders for me. I use the regular bar of soap and i just recently purchased the foaming soap and it is very gentle and I love it. Use the oil right on zits/acne and it will clear them up. I love this stuff - hope I helpled!!!

Is exfoliating every day good for the skin?
Hi,
I have quite sensitive skin which is prone to dryness - and I'm a fan of Simple products as they never irritate my skin. However, at the moment my skin is becoming quite oily - especially on my forehead - and I'm getting quite a few spots.
The only cleansers Simple do for oily skin are exfoliating washes - but is exfoliating my skin every day good for it, especially with it being sensitive?
Thanks! Is exfoliating every day good for the skin?
Over-exfoliating can actually produce more oil because the pores are secreting sebum to moisturize the face. Maybe a few times a week would be good, not everyday. You can also apply a clay-based mask to your oily spots.
Good luck. :-)cool mask

What is the difference between exfoliating your skin and washing it?
I'm asking because i thought exfoliating removes dead skin but doesn't regular washing do the same? What is the difference between exfoliating your skin and washing it?
Exfoliate: to cast off in scales, laminae, or splinters
Wash: to cleanse by or as if by the action of liquid (as water)
The difference is that washing just runs the dirt, make-up, or whatever it may be off of your skin, exfoliating actually removes dead skin and unneeded layers. What is the difference between exfoliating your skin and washing it?
regualr washing is not aggressive enough to remove layers of dead cells
Washing will remove some dead skin but it basically just cleans the skin. Exfoliating removes more dead skin.
Not as good. To exfoliate you usually use a scrub with like crushed walnut shells or something in it, and that REALLY does a good job of getting dead/dry skin off. To wash your face ppl usually just use some type of soap, and that really just gets the dirt and oil off the face, not so much the dead skin.
Exfoliating is more abrasive on your skin and will remove more dead skin cells than just washing alone.
Exfoliate has enzymes on it, to remove the dead skin this could be use once a week depending on your skin type. While washing is just to cleanse the dirt or remove make-up.
i belive that products that exfoiliate have beads or abrasives in them.. where soap is mostly cleaners and moisturizers and no abrasives...
i am not gay btw
exfoliating removes the dead skin cells. it has tiny beads in it that feel slightly abrasive. washing your skin is just using a cleanser, that probably doesn't have any beads in it.

How do Koreans take care of their skin?
Koreans are known for their beautiful and healthy skin. What are their nightly regimens and what products do they use? Are the products available outside Korea? How do Koreans take care of their skin?
You dont have to be korean to take care of your skin. How do Koreans take care of their skin?
well really most koreans are born with nice and soft skin..
i'm korean! Report Abuse
There are a number of things that go into this. Firstly their diet, people in certain regions are less likely to have bad skin because of the food they eat, if they were to come to the US and eat our greasy, unhealthy food they wouldnt look so hot.
Also, I have a friend from Korea who said plastic surgury is super common, most women get some sort of surgury, its like a regular trip to the grocery store for them. (dont quote me on that its just what I've heard)
Most have oily skin. Heredity. Dry skin=wrinkles, blemishes. Oily/lotioned skin=not as much wrinkles.
My opinion.

What products are best for my sensitive skin?
I have sensitive skin, and I have random small break-outs (nothing horrible). However, I have used Cetaphil and it burns my skin. Recently, I tried the DDF sensitive skin line of cleansers, toner, and SPF 15 moisturizer, and I also recently started using Bare Minerals cosmetics. My face is having yet another allergic reaction either to the make-up or the cleansers. Since I have sensitive skin, why are sensitive skin products causing irritation and burning for me? Is it a certain ingredient in these products that makes this happen? Are there any recommended products for situations like mine? Thanks so much! What products are best for my sensitive skin?
I know where you are coming from,I've got extremely sensitIve and allergic skin, ive tried allot of things out there. The best products I have found are natural based and do not contain synthetics,I use a scent free glycerin soap called clearly natural, for my toner I use plain witch hazel and then i follow it with a scent free natural lotion without parabins.Bare minerals doesn't bother my skin,I recommend you look for gentle products at a whole foods store if it doesn't work on Ur skin u can always return it,just save the receipt Best of luck!

Well I would ahve said cetaphil, but since that burns your skin, I would try a light lotion and cleanser, and definetely use the pad makeup removers, they work magic! Umm... also I have little breakouts too, and my skin is always so smooth and soft after I use this papaya peel off mask, I got it at jewel in a big green bottle for about 6$ kinda pricy, but it lasts long! Good luck!
see a dermatologist; they'll tell you the best products to use.........

I use Eucerin, it is not outrageously priced and was recommended by both my physician and my diabetic specialist for my sensitive skin and it appears to be working great. Hope this helps your condition.
I have sensitive skin problems too. Now I use the Pure Olive Oil products from Japan to moisture and protect my skin from UV rays. my skin condition is in very much better condition now.

How do I get rid of dry skin on my face?
I've been using this creme to reduce pimples and it made my drink really dry and after i shower, I can see flakes and dead skin. I've stopped using the night creme and starting to use a face creme moisturizer to smoothen things out but doesnt really seem to work, I want my face to be really smooth, close to a babies *** lol.How do I get rid of dry skin on my face?
Don't try and peel dry skin off until it's ready to come off, or you may end up scarring your tissue. Use a moisturised soap in the shower for your face, and wash gently with a wash cloth to remove excess dry skin. Follow that after your shower with some good moisturising cream after you dry off. Wash your face a couple times a day with the moisturising soap (like glisterine) to keep from recurring acne, and follow that washing with some moisturising cream. Healing your face takes a little time. Meanwhile,sStay out of the sun, and get off the fried chips and snacks if you want good skin. Eat lots of vegetables. If you want a baby face you should be a baby. Not an adult, especially if you are teenager, your hormones would be working overtime.
In India, what we do is apply coconut oil on the face(just little, not too much) before going to bed and washing it off in the morning.
