I've tried all kinds of stuff like Aloe and scraping off the real rough stuff and then putting a lotion on them but they just dry right back out again. Anyone have any good idea or remedies? Serious inquiries only...What can you put on rough dry skin like your heels that are rough enough to wear a hole in a new pair socks?
Its a daily battle!
Pumice stone them every night and put on Norwegian Fisherman's hand cream (available in shops and on line). Put it on again in the morning. Every day follow the same routine and you will get there eventually. Don't take too much each day with the pumice, little and often to take it down gradually so it does not become sore; What can you put on rough dry skin like your heels that are rough enough to wear a hole in a new pair socks?
First and foremost----go get a pedicure, and make sure you get the callous remover treatment. Then after that go and buy some foot cream-local grocery store will have it, like Dr. Shool's foot care line. Then every night before bed rub the cream into your heels and put on a pair of clean cotton socks. In about a week your feet will be baby smooth. Also get yourself a pumice stone and use it in the shower everyday. Weather you are a male or a female, pedicures are the absolute BEST way to keep your feet healthy.
try olive oils and try beeswax--they sell it at dollar general
I had the same problem and I use Bag Balm. You can get it at walmart, don't get anything but the original in a green square tin can. Put a good amount on your feet then put socks on overnight and in the morning they will be soft. I do this 1-2 times a week to keep them that way. It is also good for dry elbows.
Buy a pumice stone and wash the scales off your heels, then
apply a good Shea butter cream.
Get thee to a pedicure! Nobody can do their own feet the way they can at the salon. After they scrape all the rough stuff off, use Shea butter on the heels and try not to wear sandals all the time (like birks or tevas) because it will come back faster.
soak feet as much as you can say each night if possible in plain soap water.then if you have pumice stone rub off excess dried skin, then you can use creams sold in stores for softness or i use plain vaseline.it works.but you should try to make this a regular relaxing time after showering.keep socks on if possible to keep in moisture from any solution you choose all night .happy scrubbing and enjoy the relaxing results.take care.chow 4 now.
Your heels did not get like that overnight, so it may take some work to clear it up. Continue soaking, then scrubbing, then moisturizing but do it at night before you go to bed.
After slathering your feet with a deep moisturizing lotion (try one for damaged skin), then put on clean cotton socks.
As you sleep, the heat from your body that gets trapped in the socks will also help to soften your skin and allow the moisturize to penetrate better.
Good luck.
Well if you have heals like that, why don't you get a job in a furnature factory, they could use someone who is abe to sand wood, without having to waste money on purchasing sandpaper.
7. I've used it on my feet with clean white cotton socks. Helps to soften up my feet and I think it absorbs better than baby oil.

I've had problems with Psoriosus for years. Olive Oil works the best to treat my skin problems. Give it a try.
