What will happen if the piece of skin that looks like string behind your penis burst?

will it allow it to become bigger?

what will happen really? What will happen if the piece of skin that looks like string behind your penis burst?
I think the structure you are referring to is your frenulum, which is on the under side of the penis and links the glans (head) to the inner foreskin.

Its purpose is to assist the foreskin to return to covering the glans after an erection subsides.

Sometimes the frenulum doesn't develop properly and remains too short (frenulum breve). During sex it can then be stretched to breaking point and tear. There is a large vein in the frenulum which will bleed copiously if the frenulum is torn; it will also be quite painful. A torn frenulum can take some while to heal as it is constantly kept damp by the foreskin and gets rubbed each time you masturbate or have sex.

The frenulum will heal to scar tissue which will be less elastic and make it tighter and thus more likely to tear again.

The best cure for a frenulum breve is to have the frenulum removed by a doctor in a minor operation called a frenulectomy or frenuloplasty. Alternatively you can have it removed as part of a circumcision which will provide many other health and sexual benefits. What will happen if the piece of skin that looks like string behind your penis burst?
nothing happens, it will hurt %26amp; bleed alot.

there is no need to have surgery or anything, once its healed you can continue to have sex etc etc.
umm it will burn, and ur gonna go to the doctor, and they will tell u that u have to get surgery

im 13, email me if u wanna, jjsaunders88@yahoo.com
It will bleed quite a lot - it happened to someone I knew, so I look after mine.

I didn't ask, but I guess it hurt as well.
It will bleed a lot, maybe require stitches, and if you're lucky, will heal and grow back.
I don't want to think about it and yes it can burn so go to the doctor quickly if you got a problem like this...
removal ?
what skin that looks like a string?
ouch~ o.O
Eh.....what....maybe a nerve blood vessel or hair?

What is a good foundation for oily skin?

I have really oily skin and need a good coverage foundation that wont make me look shiny, any suggestions? What is a good foundation for oily skin?
Rimmel Stay Matte foundation. It's reasonably priced and doesn't make you look shiny. Long-wearing too! What is a good foundation for oily skin?
I know luv, we have exactly the same problem.

I manage to counter shine by applying oil-control toner before putting on my makeup. I also use a gel formulation, which gives a good matte coverage and it isn't very hard to keep on.

Check out the Aqua Gel foundation line by Maybelline, it's very good.

Good luck!
hi i have oily skin as well. your best bet for that is a little something called physicains formula...its at walmart...it is little pricy like 12 bucks BUT i bought mine a year ago and its still kicken....it is very lightwieght and i swear it just hides imperfections...also try physicains formula/ magic mosecc? its amazing just make sure you get the foundation...they have many options like blush and translucent concealer...idk i love it so give it a try

Try Laura Mercier oil-free tinted moisturizer, or bare minerals.

They work wonders on my oily skin!!

Good Luck!
bare minerals. and if you need to blot the oil away in the middle of the day, use clean and clear oil sheets
Versace's oil free hydrating foundation. My sister uses it and it's great
You might want to try a foundation that is oil free...and maybe try mineral makeup instead and see if that helps.

  • How do I get rid of a skin tag on my eye lid?

I have a skin tag on my eye lid. Why is it there and how do I get rid of it?How do I get rid of a skin tag on my eye lid?
    ABOUT:

They typically occur in characteristic locations including the neck, underarms, eyelids, and under the breasts...occur in locations where skin rubs against other skin or clothing.

They are much more common in middle age and they tend to increase in prevalence up to age 60.

Hormone elevations may cause an increase in the formation of skin tags.

Skin tags are a type of growth or tumor, albeit a completely benign and harmless one. Tags are not cancerous (malignant) and not found to have potential to become cancerous if left untreated.

    REMOVAL:

There are several effective medical ways to remove a skin tag, including removing with scissors, freezing (using liquid nitrogen), and burning (using medical electric cautery at the physician's office).

Usually small tags may be removed easily without anesthesia while larger growths may require some local anesthesia (injected lidocaine) prior to removal. Application of a topical anesthesia cream prior to the procedure may be desirable in areas where there are a large number of tags.

Dermatologists (skin doctors), family physicians, and internal medicine physicians are the doctors who treat tags most often. Occasionally, an eye specialist (ophthalmologist) is needed to remove tags very close to the eyelid margin.

    I hope this helps! :)

What happens to an earthworm if its skin dries out?

And what happens to the earthworm, after a big rain, when the soil is flooded? What happens to an earthworm if its skin dries out?
when an earthworm's skin dries out it dies because it can no longer exchange Carbon Dioxide and Oxygen which it does through the skin.

I have tried everything, and the best foundation is Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk, it is awesome, $$ though, but worth every penny. Looks natural, covers everything (it erases any redness or imperfection like an eraser, no concealer needed) but doesn't look heavy or cakey at all. It's a miracle foundation %26amp; will last you a long time ; ) Another foundation that is not so pricey is Estee Lauder Enlighten, very beautiful results.

Does anyone know anything about dogs with skin problems?

My dog is a 10 year old Chow / Rottweiler mix and recently he has started to get black looking, scabby patches under his fur, and when you pet him or brush him, small clumps of hair with skin attached fall out, does anyone know what might cause this, or how to fix it? He also seems to have some new black patches around his nose. Please help.Does anyone know anything about dogs with skin problems?
First of all the weight problem is because of the fleas. The blood loss from the fleas biting your dog make him anemic and he doesn't get necessary vitamins or iron and therefore looses weight. Get him on a good healthy diet...Eukanuba or Iams dry dog foods are some good suggestions. Buy the one that is specific to the age of your dog. You might also get some liquid doggie vitamins to supplement his diet (sprinkled on his food).

The hair loss could be from the fleas but the black spots and hair loss could be sarcoptic mange...if the hair is loosening in clumps. This is a dog ';scabies'; and it is contagious to humans. You will need to have the dog dipped in an insecticide if this is the case. Just go to the vet and have him do a skin scraping to test for mites/scabies (aka; sarcoptic mange). If it is positive you will need to sterilize everything (dog bedding etc..) in hot water and bleach the hard surfaces.

Before you go crazy sterilizing everything...have the vet do the tests, then let me know how it comes out.Does anyone know anything about dogs with skin problems?
If you are like many of us and can't afford high-cost tests, start by changing the food, as suggested. You could also try putting a little Flax oil on his/her food, which is wonderful for skin conditions (I use it for exzema on myself). It is often caused by an internal problem. You could give it a try at least.
A vet will have to do a skin scraping or take a biopsy to diagnose your dogs condition. It may be as simple as dry skin or not so simple as melanoma, demodex, scabies, sunburn, flea allergy dermatitis, other allergies, autoimmune disease etc...

Is the dog itchy? Best advise, get the dog to a vet and have it checked out.

    Hope all goes well.
    can i say vet
It sounds most like an allergy. His kibble may need to be changed to an hypo-allergenic formula. Ask at your local pet supply as to which formula they carry. You want one with no corn or soy or wheat.

Rice is best, and chicken or lamb as the first ingredient. Solid Gold makes a very good one with Fish.

Give him a cool bath with an oatmeal shampoo, such as Aveeno, or a generic of same. Rinse it well. This will make him comfortable and help him heal.
Pure breeds puppies have more of a tendency to be having skin problems and infections. Unfortunately this puppy skin disorders are are not easy to get rid of. These types of problems are things that only a veterinarian can take care of and treat adequately. There are also many different types of allergies that itch very intensely causing the puppy or dog to bite at his skin or coat and this can cause the dog to bite into his own skin causing nasty infections and scabs.
I dont sorry..but you can ask a dog doctor..
    this sounds like ';hot spots';.

it is like a psoriasis or dermatitis that humans get.

moisturize continually, and be sure that the dog doesn't attempt to bite or mutilate the areas. if it does, see a vet immediately so that infection does not occur.
Have you consider taking your pet to the vet. If not try some tree oil on the infected areas until you can seek professional help good luck.
take him to the vet, most likely not mange since that causes balding
You can give a dog one pill of Benadryl a day for his allergies. It works on dogs %26amp; they have no adverse reactions to it. The black patches with hair on them are scabs, probably from scratching. I have a 10yr old Australian Cattle Dong who has horrible allergies in the summer. A Benadryl a day controls it beautifully. I got this advice from my Vet. He said it's cheaper than dog meds %26amp; office visits.
It sounds like you may have something there. No won can diagnose it without seeing it.

You could have anything from an allergy to mange or even something worse.

I would say get to a vet, there the condition can be diagnosed and treated.
I have a 6 week old boxer puppy. We took her to the vet today for shots. We have the same problem with her. He said it was a fungus. He put her on a Chlorahexiderm shampoo to use once or twice. He also gave us some Chlorahexiderm spray in a bottle %26amp; told us to use a cotton ball %26amp; apply it at least once a day. When we see these dry patches, remove the fur on it %26amp; apply this medicine. He said it should clear up in a couple of weeks. I asked the lady behind the counter if the shampoo he gave us would be enough for one treatment or more than one. She said we should bathe her with it tonight %26amp; maybe do it again in 2 weeks.

This sounds exactly like what Nikita has. The vet also told us to be careful @ her %26amp; always wash our hands. It is contagious.

Please take him to the vet %26amp; ask him about it. Don't take any chances.

    Good Luck
This is a yearly thing? How long after annual vaccinations does this happend? Also note that according to manufacturers' recommendations, only healthy dogs should be vaccinated. Check into the Wisconsin Univ. web site.

I have a shepherd-chow mix, 10 years old, who has had flea allergy all her life. The skin on her belly and under her arms is black and scaly, like an alligator. She gets medicated baths, I keep her fur trimmed pretty short, and she is on cortisone 3 times a week, and benadryl daily. This regime controls it pretty well. I would find another vet, with a reccommendation from someone you know and trust. There is a reason for her weight loss. If she's otherwise pretty healthy, there's no reason she shouldn't enjoy several more happy years. I wish you the best.
something like this just happen to our pit bull pup she is only 5 months old we had to take her to the vet because we tried to treat it at home but it just got worse any way all her hair fell out and her skin was really red we took her in and the vet said she was bitten by a flea the she is allergic to we had to get antibiotics it has only been a week or two but her hair is already growing back and all the redness is gone no more cleaning up hair either. So I would say the best thing to do is take the dog in to be seen. I don't know where you live but here we have a low cost animal clinic we only had to $35.00 for the visit and the meds. were $37.00 that isn't bad. alot of places wanted $50-$75 just to look at her. well good luck by the way you can also search the web try typing in info on sick dogs losing hair.
Sounds like your dog has more problems than is worth taking care of. Have you ever thought of letting someone else adopt him from you?
    call the vet now!!!
This could be the onset of an autoimmune disease...too many to name. He needs a checkup with your vet.
Sounds like mange to me ...Get him to the vet right away
I would say go to a vet, but I'm thinking its allergies or some kind of skin disease or hair disease.
Get to the vet/ maybe flea allergy or mange?
chows are one of the breeds of dogs that have an allergy to soy product, check to see if soy is in his dog food and if so change to a soy free dog food
This sounds like mange. We rescued a stray dog that had it bad. (Still have her -- her name is Gypsy.) Mange is caused by little microscopic insects that suck the dog's blood and itch terribly. You need to see a vet for this, because home remedies don't really work and your dog will continue to be in misery. My vet gave us a systemic medication that we put into the dog's food once daily for a month. This works from the inside out to kill the mange mites through the dog's blood. Her hair grew back in fine.
Go to the vet it is either a flea, food or pollen allergy the only way to find out is by going to the vet.
Dogs are just like humans in a way. They can get all the same skin problems and more. And yes although it wouldn't be that obvious they can also get skin cancer.

I have really light skin and really dark hair... I like to be natural without a lot of make up but I don't want to be ghostly white. help??How can I make my naturally white skin darker without damaging it in the tanning bed or globbing on make up?
go to a beach and layout for a free tan and use sunscreen to prevent damaging the skinHow can I make my naturally white skin darker without damaging it in the tanning bed or globbing on make up?
you should go to a tanning salon and try the Mystic tan spray on tans, they look really good..they have levels 1, 2 and 3..which is light, medium and dark. if you do this, i suggest that you try level 1 and if thats not dark enough for you then try level 2. you have to make sure that you shower before you go, because you can't shower from 4-6 hrs afterwards. and you can't have on any lotion before you get it done, or it could turn out streaky.
Ghostly white can be very nice, look at Nicole Kidman...Scarlett johannsen...I say keep it! :)
Use a sunless tanning lotion...Aveda has a great one called Sun Source. It works great for me and does not streak.

What is the best foundation for oily skin?

My face is oily, and I have to use a compact constantly, which ends up making my face look really washed-out. I'd like to find a foundation that keeps me dry looking, but hopefully doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Thank you! What is the best foundation for oily skin?
I find that using a cream-to-powder does well on my face. I buy mine at Wal-Mart. Has to be less than $10. It comes in a compact just like the pressed powder but it will look like a cream and will have a sponge with it instead of a puff. Also if you find the need to reapply-take a paper towel and wipe your face off. It will take off the extra oil and some of the make up as well. That way you don't get so caked up with make-up by the end of the day. What is the best foundation for oily skin?
Use mary kay. they have different foundations for different skin types. they also have a facewash and moisturizer that keep ur face looking fresh.

Maybe use cheap mineral makeup from drugstores.

You could also go to your nearest department store..and if they have a makeup section ask them what would be best for your skin.

Men over 50 please answer. How would you feel about a woman who has loose skin on her tummy?

I am 45, and interested in a man who is 52. I am very athletic and not overweight at all. The problem is, from having children, the skin on my tummy is very loose. When I am standing up, I look fine, but bent over, it just hangs there like a wrinkled up mess (as in when the woman is on top). Would this make a difference to you if you really liked a woman?Men over 50 please answer. How would you feel about a woman who has loose skin on her tummy?
Absolutely not. Besides, what makes you think men over 50 are some kind of adonis? We have enough of our own loose skin and sometimes in areas we don't want it resulting in a failure to connect.rMen over 50 please answer. How would you feel about a woman who has loose skin on her tummy?
It shouldn't. A 52 year old man certainly cannot claim to not have anything that sags so he shouldn't expect a woman to have nothing that sags.

And if he does have something negative to say about it he's certainly not worth a minute of your time.
    NO, ABSOLUTELY NOT

And if it does, find another guy.

What does the guy look like? Does he have a six-pack for abs? Big arms? Strong back? There are many things that would make a woman so very unattractive, like smoking or drinking to much. Don't worry about the tummy issue.
Hey I have the same problem you know how I get over it ? Sexy basques and corsets, drive him wild and cover your wobbly bits at the same time.

    Works for me.....
    Throw up nasty!
If that was the only criterion on which to judge then it does not say much about any man. If you think about it a man does not spend all his time with a partner naked and/or having sex. There is so much more time in the day and things to do together. The relationship should be based on many factors. You seem to have so much more to offer so if a guy is focused only in the concern you identified, then you should move on to someone else, if for no other reason, then your self-respect.

Im recently pregnant and my skin is breaking out terribly! I usually have really good skin, Is there any way to lessen the breakouts, any good products you recommend? Is there any way to improve my skin during pregnancy?
I asked my doc this EXACT question. His response....';Yeah. Give birth'; lol. So i guess thats a 'no'. I have NEVER had problem skin until I got pregnant. Now its AWFUL!! Not only does it break out, but its blotchy and just generally ill looking. It should go back to normal once the baby gets here though. Is there any way to improve my skin during pregnancy?
Some things I like so far:

Olay ';regen'; scrub, it's gentle to use every/other day and sloughs off the dead cells good

Kiss My Face aloe/olive oil bar soap--this stuff leaves my skin moisturized, but clean without drying it out

dipping q-tips in visine and putting them in the freezer for a few mins. then use on pimples/red areas... cools, feels good and gets the redness/inflammation out for me!

A lot of things that are really good at clearing up your skin are not suppose to be used during pregnancy. Sorry. Drink a lot of water, this is suppose to be good for your skin. Also, know that it's from the hormones and after you deliver your skin will improve.
try to wash your face twice day in the morning and before bed time,i use Clear %26amp; clearn then use balancing softener ( the one looks like liquid ,several drop on cotton pad),i dont use moisturizer made my skin worst.I'm also pregnant will turn 14 weeks tomorrow. good luck
its the hormones. i was breaking out really bad in the st 3 months. now its gone down alot. wash ur face every chance you get and use a good moisturizer.

What can I use to have clear skin, when I have sensitive skin that's allergic to most skin care products?

The doctors are useless so don't suggest that. Anything OTC I can use to avoid/prevent breakouts? (currently the only soap I can use that doesn't turn my face red and dry is a yellow bar soap called Purpose)

Thanks! What can I use to have clear skin, when I have sensitive skin that's allergic to most skin care products?
Amazing results can be had by washing your face with all natural Basic-H and then apply Herbal Blend Multi-Purpose Cream.

Hope this is helpful and feel free to contact me with questions. What can I use to have clear skin, when I have sensitive skin that's allergic to most skin care products?
use cetaphil, dove or neutrogena soap-they're all very mild and have frangrance free things too.
Sea Breeze for sensitive skin and a little cortisone cream all OTC.
I have allergies too and I use Clearasil Daily Face Wash for Sensitive skin. It has never caused me any problems, so you might want to give it a try.

Also, try Aveeno products. They are specifically designed and made to be hypo-allergetic, so it's excellent for people with sensitive skin and allergies. Aveeno can be a little pricey, but the products are excellent. I especially love, Aveeno Ultra-Calming Lotion to moisurize my face, it stings a little with the first couple of uses, but the burning itsn't too intense and it doesn't last long. The lotion makes my skin soft, it doesn't have an oiley residue, and it absorbs quickly. You only need to pump the dispenser once and it's enough for your whole face so the bottle lasts for a while. The only problem, like I stated before is that it's a little pricey, it's about $16 for a 4oz bottle, but it's well worth spending the money on.

Here's the Aveeno website, so you can get more info on their products. http://www.aveeno.com/index.jsp

You can use their Skin Care Advisor to choose your skin type and see what products they recommend.

And, no, I'm not a spoksperson or affiliated with Aveeno in any way. I just like their stuff!!!
Hve you tried oil of olay products??? They are supposed to be good for sensitive skin. I do believe they have a sensitive skin line as well.

Why would my 2 year old Jack Russell all of a sudden start getting dark skin spots all over his body?

I have a 2 year old jack russell that is mainly white with some brown patches. Lately he has been getting many dark skin patches. He was fixed about 3 months ago.

Thank you for any suggestions anyone may have. Why would my 2 year old Jack Russell all of a sudden start getting dark skin spots all over his body?
Do you have any tall grass around your house? It's called rain rot. It usually only happens to small dogs because they're so low to the ground. When they run through the grass water, dirt, and what ever else is in it can get onto them. It can be a bit annoying for the dog but it's not serious at all.Why would my 2 year old Jack Russell all of a sudden start getting dark skin spots all over his body?
I have a rat terrier female and she has the same exact thing mostly on her belly. She has is 7 now and has had it for years so its nothing life threatening. Unless the spots are actually sticking out like a bump, he's ok.
Call your local veterinary clinic :) They could be able to tell you what it is right over the phone, and what to do about it. If it is serious they will advise you to bring him in.

  • What is the best thing to use on your face for dry/acne prone skin?

I'm 30 years old, so something with anti wrinkle would be awesome too. What is the best thing to use on your face for dry/acne prone skin?
    Depends

See if you can get a few samples. I heard a few people that used proactive say it dried them out so if you are starting with dry skin you need something that is oil free and hydrates the skin. Also make sure you are using a product that exfoliates the skin acne starts deep under the skin three weeks before you see it on the surface.

i sell Mary Kay and we have a few different product that are made for acne prone skin and we also have anti ageing. i would be happy to send you some samples or you could search for a consultant in your area if you prefer to sit down with someone for a free consultation.

http://www.marykay.com/sdoshi/skincare/d鈥?/a>What is the best thing to use on your face for dry/acne prone skin?
Well, for acne, you can use Noxema found at any store. As for the wrinkles, you can use Estee Lauder anti-aging cream. It works like botox, but it is definitely safe. Trust me, my grandma uses it, and she looks great.
I have been using a great product from Nu Skin for years. It has been working really well for me. Check out this page, there is a ton of stuff for all kinds of ailments.

All of their products are made to help the aging process. The acne systems are awesome!
My grandfather send my daughter this stuff called absorbase, it works for pretty much everything... it's like this thick cream but it's not creamy it's very thick. It do not oil your skin or dry it out. You should look it up on the net :)
Theres this stuff...its like Oil-Free Acne Wash from neutrogena. it comes in a purple bottle and says it leaves a slight ';tingle';. Its sooo great!
Im 29, and have suffered from acne . I use Ziana- a new acne gel that has worked wonders. I also wash my face with cetaphil and mositurize with cetaphil and I am acne free. For wrinkles, I heard oil of olay total effects is wonderful. I am going to start using that at night as part of my regimin.

    Good Luck!!
I may be able to help you!!! I am a Mary Kay Independant Beauty Consultant. We have Time Wise 3 in 1 Cleanser and moisturizer. We have 2 different kinds. One for Normal to dry skin, the other for normal to oily... This works great for wrinkles as well. But our GREATEST acne product that we have that I used when i have acne is called Velocity. Go to our website marykay.ca and look! I'm not jus trying to sell you, but i like to help. I know what its like to have acne! Not fun!

    Email me: katherineburgess88@hotmail.com
Try Neutrogena! I've tried it and it's awesome! It works great on acne marks without giving you dry skin.
I have had the same problem. I use Alpha Hydrox oil-free lotion at night. It exfoliates and keeps my skin clear and blackhead free. You have to use sunscreen though, because it makes you more likely to sunburn. I like Olay Complete Oil-free sunscreen. It is lightweight and doesn't make me break out.
    .
I had great skin when i was a teenager, as i got up in the years (not so much) i tryed pro-active. All i can say is IT WORKS!!!!!

Is dunking your face in cold water after a hot shower good for your skin?

I suffer from some mild but consistent pimples / blackheads. I'm a 23 year old guy and still get them. So I thought that cold water directly after a hot shower would like close pores and stuff. Is this right but more importantly is this good?Is dunking your face in cold water after a hot shower good for your skin?
No, that won't really be doing any good. You need to wash your face twice a day with a facial cleanser. Also moisturize twice a day. The best products to use if you have acne are ones made for acne prevention. Check out neutrogena, i like it. I struggled with acne for about a year until i found Skin ID. I love it. It is designed for my skin and it worked really well. Just something you could look into.Is dunking your face in cold water after a hot shower good for your skin?
    Hey-

Use a scrub specifically for blackheads. Get something with Sacilic (spelling?) Acid.

Was face with warm (not hot hot) water... This WILL open your pores. Use acne facewash, then the scrub. When you're all done, splash your face with COLD water 3 or 4 times. It's hell, but it will close your pores.

AND MOISTURIZE with non- pore clogging moisturizer! I KNOW it sounds counter-productive, but it will actually make your face produce less oil. good luck!
listen up, skin is made of dead cells, NOTHING can change them, ALL ALL ALL cosmetics that claim to help are unreal and sell hope, a vitamin e moisterizer can help skin to look less dry for a half an hour, that's it............make up works cause it covers the skin with a substance and stays on to cover

Is there anything that can make your skin look pale or white?

Its for Halloween. I no its early but is there anything? For Halloween im being Bella as a vampire (Twilight) so I need 2 find: The stuff that makes my skin look white, red contacts,(if possable) and a dark brown wig. O and im like obsessed w/ Twilight. Is there anything that can make your skin look pale or white?
Baby Powder, Powders Sugar, just wearing Sun tan lotion a week or two ahead. She wore Jeans and a hoodie right..no..that was as a human. Bella dresses more of a tomboy-ish type of girl, so a too girly dress might get you mistaken with somebody else. Coat your body with sparkly lotion or shimmery powder. I used Spell鈥檚 Body Gloss EVERYWHERE! Twilight vamps sparkle in the sun.Bella, you could add a faux leg cast and wear a prom dress.

How can you tell if a mango is ready to be eaten? How are you supposed to eat a mango? Can you eat the skin?

As you may have guessed, i've never had a mango but i just bought one at the store and i want to try it.How can you tell if a mango is ready to be eaten? How are you supposed to eat a mango? Can you eat the skin?
A mango is ready to be eaten when its perfectly ripe. The best way to identify that is by pressing it slightly, if its hard like an apple its unripe but if it is soft somehwat like a banana it is ready to be eaten, make sure to eat it before it gets over ripe.

Mango peels can not be eaten, wash and peel the mango completely. There is a hard kernel inside 9 not edible) just slice the mango from over the kernel and eat with a fork. How can you tell if a mango is ready to be eaten? How are you supposed to eat a mango? Can you eat the skin?
It should smell fruity and sweet if you sniff the skin. It should not be super soft, but have a little give to it. Don't eat the skin. Hold it with the stem part up on a cutting board. It is thinner one way than the other. Gently start slicing just off center from the top down. The seed is BIG and oval shaped. You will feel the flat side of the seed with your knife. Slice off both sides from seed. Carefully run the knife through the meat of the fruit, but not through the skin. Making a sort of checkerboard looking cut. Now push up on the skin, sort of turning the piece inside out. now the skin is rounded in instead of out and the cubes of fruit are sticking up off the skin. slice them off and enjoy. Yummy!
its ripe when the skin has a pink color , and also smells sweet, do not eat the skin, the mango has a big seed so just cut it along the sides and peel the skin of, mango is one of my favorites fruits, I hope you'll enjoy it, you can use in fresh salsa recipes, mix with water and ice, make a nice smoothie, cook with suga rand cloves until soft, top ice cream
    Easy Slices

    1. With a sharp thin-bladed knife, cut off both ends of the fruit. 2. Place fruit on flat end and cut away peel from top to bottom along curvature of the fruit. 3. Cut fruit into slices by carving lengthwise along the pit.

    With A Spoon

    1. Use a sharp knife to slice off mango ';cheeks'; lengthwise. 2. Separate halves as shown, saving the tasty center. 3. Use spoon to scoop out fruit from halves. Enjoy, sweet center over the sink.

    Cubes

    1. Start with the Mango ';cheek';; Fillet off its pit lengthwise. 2. Cut 1/2'; squares by scoring mango with a sharp knife. Do not cut through skin. 3. Turn mango half ';inside out,'; separating cubes. Slice off squares with a knife.

    On A Fork

    1. Cut skin on top of mango crosswise. 2. Pull skin away from fruit in quarters or eighths. 3. Place mango on a fork and serve.

    How to select and store

Selecting the ripeness of mangos can be determined by either smelling or squeezing. A ripe mango will have a full, fruity aroma emitting from the stem end. Mangos can be considered ready to eat when slightly soft to the touch and yielding to gentle pressure, like a ripe peach. The best flavored fruit have a yellow tinge when ripe; however, color may be red, yellow, green, orange or any combination. The ideal post harvest storage temperature for mangos is 55潞 F. When stored properly a mango should have a shelf life of 1 to 2 weeks. We have found that the best way to ripen a mango is at room temperature, on the kitchen counter and if you wish to accelerate the process place in a paper bag overnight (some folks place an apple with the mango in the bag to create more natural ethylene gas and further decrease the ripening time). Once ripened the mango can be refrigerated for a few days, but should be used shortly thereafter.

    Servings

    Ingredients

    3 large strawberries

    1/2 cup light rum

    juice of 2 limes

    2 tbsp.sugar

    2 cups crushed ice

    strawberries for garnish

    Servings 6

    Ingredients

    2-3 tbsp. honey

    2 tsp. chopped fresh ginger

    1 egg, separated

    pinch of salt

    pinch of cream of tartar

    2 tbsp. sugar

    2 cups unflavored yogurt

    2 medium mangos

Directions Peel, pit and chop fruit. Puree with honey and ginger in blender or food processor. Bring puree to boil in small saucepan. Gradually whisk in beaten egg yolk, then set aside to cool. Beat egg whites with salt and cream of tartar until soft peaks form. Gradually beat in sugar until stiff peaks form. Stir yogurt into mango mixture then fold in egg whites. Spoon into a shallow metal pan and freeze until firm, stirring occasionally.
I've never had one either, but my Mexican neighbor eats em all the time, I guess its a Mexican fruit. I think you have to peel em and theres a big pit inside somewhat like an avocado.
it should be pretty soft. there's a core in the middle that runs the length of the thing and is pretty wide. you have to cut the fruit off of it and it's best to score the fruit inside the skin after you cut it off the core and scrape it from the skin. no, you don't eat the skin. mango fruit is kind of slimy and very, very slippery so be very careful when you cut it. it's good.
well if it's soft to squeeze then it's probably ripe. there's a large, flat pit in it so use the instructions from http://www.wikihow.com/Cut-a-Mango to cut it. the skin is edible/not poisonous, but i don't know how it tastes...

    hope this helps. :)

Can a snake bite really eat your skin down to the muscle?

I know the venom from most venomous snakes can kill, but can your flesh be eaten away to the muscle by the venom? Can a snake bite really eat your skin down to the muscle?
Hadn't heard that, but there is a scorpion in Iraq that can.

One of our soldiers went to sleep in his cot.

    He awoke covered in blood.

His arm had been eaten in a section the size of dollar bill.

Those critters inject an anesthetic then eat their fill. Can a snake bite really eat your skin down to the muscle?
Usually, the type of venom that rots flesh is reserved for the arachnid family of insects. Spider bites or scorpion stings usually have that characteristic where the center of the bite will rot and turn black. It is because they do not chew their food so it must be liquefied prior to ingestion. The spider bites it's prey enough to stun it until it has trapped it in a case made of web silk where it is stored alive. When the spider is ready to eat, it will bite it again with much more venom that will begin to dissolve the trapped insect from the inside out. Once the innards are liquid the spider can then suck the nourishment from the carcass.
The venom of Vipers does indeed cause tissue necrosis, though because it's injected below the skin the venom starts 'digesting' muscle rather than causing skin to die.

By the time a victim exhibits skin necrosis, they've got much bigger problems.
it will change colors to like red and black cuz the poison is killing the cells
yep yep yep. its a bummer but it can happen.

Why does my brother have a different skin color than me?

How is it that i have darker skin than my brother. To set the record straight he is indeed my twin brother, don't go thinking that my parents fooled around or something. Why does my brother have a different skin color than me?
It's just genetic. My father is Mexican while my mother is white. I have pale skin and red hair while my brother is about 4 shades darker than me with black hair. We each look like a different parent. It could be that way with your parents as well. Or maybe you look like a relative. It's just random genes! Why does my brother have a different skin color than me?
it depends on what nationality you took like if you took after your dad and your brother took after your mom it depends happen honestly! my mom has fair skin and blonde hair with brown eyes and my dad as black hair, with hazel eyes and dark complexion and i took after my dad i have dark brown hair with brown eyes that naturally change to hazel or hazelish green cause of my grandma! i got alot of italian/german and hungrian in me that is why my skin is darker then my mom! just because your twin brother is lighter then then your parents didn't fool around! it just one took after one parent and the other one took after the other parent!
my brother and I have different skin tones too - he's much darker than I am, with dark brown/black hair. I am very pale with light, almost white blonde hair. I look different than all my fam (who all have dark brown hair) but both my mom and dad are Norwegian and Swedish and my grandfather had blonde hair...so maybe it's the genetics in your family tree...
I don't know, but I know sibling like that too, except the brother is darker. But it is not the same ase he has a different dad, but he doesn't know that.
If your parents have different skin colors you two can have different skin colors, because you are fraternal twins. If you were identical it would be the same.
the reason is about hormones... even if your twins it doesnt mean that everything will be the same. Well if you want to have fair skin tone this site will help you give best advice:

    aha dont worry

me and my brother are like that

idk i have a natural tan and he's pretty pale

but a lot of siblings are actually like that too

Is there a way to prevent excess skin as a result of dramatic weight loss?

I'm 32 years old, and in the process of losing a considerable amount of weight (over time, not get-thin-quick methods). I've heard of people who lose lots of weight and have to deal with excess skin afterwards. My question really has 2 parts: 1) at my age, is this something I should be concerned with, and 2) are there ways to prevent it from happening? Is there a way to prevent excess skin as a result of dramatic weight loss?
Your still pretty young which means you skin still has a lot of elasticity in it. If you exercise while loosing weight, your chances of having too much skin is cut down considerably. Have you seen those guys on the biggest looser show who have lost 100 pounds? they may have some loose skin, but not nearly as much as someone who has a gastric bypass operation and loose it fast and without exercise. So keep up with what you are already doing. Is there a way to prevent excess skin as a result of dramatic weight loss?
no im sorry there really isn't...... i guess you try working your core... like sit ups and stuff... but i don't think you can.. sorry .. maybe plastic surgery ?

Is there anyway to know if your skin is more prone to ink bleeding for tattoos?

I want a tattoo on my inner foot just under my ankle, which is supposedly a place where tattoos bleed and smudge more than anywhere else. So is there anyway of knowing how prone my foot would be to bleeding without inking myself first? Is there anyway to know if your skin is more prone to ink bleeding for tattoos?
hmmm, no i don't think so.

but just don't have any alcohol WHAT SO EVER!

cause that makes you bleed alot.Is there anyway to know if your skin is more prone to ink bleeding for tattoos?
Look, your going to bleed no matter how tight your skin is - tattooing is just a long, vibrating needle that shoots ink into your skin while cutting you - this is because when your skin heals the ink gets trapped in the skin and remains as a tattoo. I would say that if you sunbathe out in the sun a lot and you have quite thick and ';leathery'; skin I would assume it would bleed less.

Anyone experienced weight loss with it?How is apple cider good for your insides (health) and how is it good for skin? What are the benefits?
The benefits seem to have been covered quite well by the other answer from motormouth. The benefits are similar to those of apple cider vinegar but apple cider vinegar is much better.

The negative of apple cider vinegar is that it will ruin your teeth if you drink it straight as it is quite corrosive due to the acetic acid so you must dilute it. If you take it with food have some food before and after taking it to minimise damage to your teeth.

Plain apple cider can be drunk straight but not apple cider vinegar. How is apple cider good for your insides (health) and how is it good for skin? What are the benefits?

Use an exfoliator, it should really help by getting rid of the dead skin and evening out your tone. If you don't have one, you can make one with sugar and lotion. You should notice a difference very soon. Since you are burnt though, don't scrub too hard or you may irritate your skin. There are also they little paper things you can buy that are oil absorbant. You press them on your face and they absorb the oil off of your face. You can usually find them for about four or five dollars in the make-up or skin care department. They always have them at Meijer. Also, be sure to dring plenty of water and try to avoid moisturizers. I have dry, red, flaky skin all over my face. I would like it gone quickly. is there any home remedies? or things i can buy? or steps to make it better? tips? oh and any good makeup to cover it up. thanks for your help :) How do i get rid of dry skin fast?
Avoid anything with mineral oil. Check the ingredients list. Mineral oil prevents the moisture from soaking into the skin.

Arbonne skin care is supposed to be good and all natural. Check online for consultants near you.

Also, try vitamin E oil at night.

A humidifier in your room at night.

A dermatologist could suggest/prescribe some treatments as well. How do i get rid of dry skin fast?
Because your skin is all flaky I think you should start off by exfoliating. Something you can use around the house and that will be gentle on your skin is a paper towel from your kitchen preferably something strong like bounty brand. Or you can use an exfoliating scrub or a small towel. Wet your face and cloth with warm water, rub in circular motions around your face for about 1 minute. Then wash off and pat dry, and immediately put on facial moisturizer (with spf if during the day without spf if at night). I use dove deep moisturizer for day and oil of olay beauty fluid at night (both you can find in walmart or drug store). Now your face is ready for makeup. Try using a liquid foundation because it will add extra moisture to your skin. Or if your skin gets irritated easily use mineral makeup. I use this all the time and I love it. Best of luck (see link in source)
the fact that it's dry, red and flakey makes me think something else is going on and it should have a doc's look. I use Clinque's moisterizing lotion, the yellow one they sometimes give in samples. and then a light powder. any liquids will make it worse... get it checked, not normal... you might need a medicated lotion...
in the winter my face gets dry and scaley and crap and i buy

Ponds Dry Skin Cream from walmart about $3. In a blue and white lil round tub thing.

Put that on before you put your normal makeup on and it wont look all greasy or flaky or anything. And I have sensitive skin and it doesnt break me out.

    Good luck :]
purchase a neutrogena wave from walmart or CVS

also get some saint ives apricot scrub

put some of the scrube on the vibrating face clenser pad and it'll exfoliate your face remarkably

be sure to use a good moisturizer afterwards, (clinique products are the best)
Ohh I have the ssame problem. Before you go to bed put a lotion for MOSTURE on your dry areas. Rub it in even if it stings (make sure your not allergic.) Also, don't take a shower tonight and dont wear make up for at least overnight.
My face used to always be really dry. I put noxzema on after every shower and leave it there for a couple of minutes before washing it off. It makes ur skin tingle and it doesn't seem to dry out my skin at all

I'm using shea (sometimes cocoa) butter,

They sell it by pound on ebay - a 1/4 of a pound ($8) lasts maybe 2 months, depending on how ofter you use it.

    it worked for me :)
Eucerin! It will heal severely dry skin quickly. Put it on at night. Sounds like you have wind burn.
use a lot of moistureisers often n lotion to help the skin replenish but prevention is better then cure which means u shouldve used lotion n moistureisers b4 this happen so it maybe wouldnt have occured use nivea or loreal skin mositureiser
rub aloe vera jells, and very moisturizing lotion on your face every couple hours.
put some moisturizer on it and it will be gone. any moisturizer should do
drink a lot of water. also take an avocado, mush it, put it on your face for like 15 min.
skin food lotion by weleda is amazing.
    Moisturize..
    PROTACITE!!
moisturizer!! pack it on thick overnight every night.
    embalming.
    lotion.
    Baby oil and lotion.
    lotion
you should use aloe vera. its really moisturizing. good luck :)

How do i get beautiful healthy looking skin?

Lately i've been looking in the mirror and can't stand the way my skin looks. It's really pale and pasty and i have a lot of clogged pores, and a few blemishes. I want beautiful healthy skin that doesn't look tired and gross. What should i do daily to get my skin to look good. I'm 18 and i don't really have a daily skin routine or anything. What are some things i can do to help my skin? Please be specific if you can :)How do i get beautiful healthy looking skin?
My advice...whenever you're thirsty, drink water.

Make sure you get at least 8 hours of sleep a day or more!

Dont eat unhealthy foods, eat more veggies and fruit, it will also make you're insides healthier aswell as you're skin.

No Sweets, No Chocolate, No Fizzy Drinks!

Exercise doesnt have to come into it but if you wanna try it then just do about 10 mins on the exercise bike or walking or jogging. How do i get beautiful healthy looking skin?
Have 8-10 glasses of water a day. It will keep your skin hydrated and clear! Wash your face and don't put too much make-up on. Apply lotion and creams to your legs and any other dry skins. If you have bangs, then pin them up. They will cause your forehead to get hot and sweaty, then clog your pores. If you have bad acne, then ask your parents to visit a dermatologist. Ask them to perscribe you some cream or medicine. Hope this helps!
get some face wash or cleanser to help w/ your clogged pores/blemishes

then moisturize afterwards if your skin is dry

and be sure to drink plenty of water

drink atleast 4 waterbottles a day. exercise 30 minutes a day. and get atleast 9 hours of sleep. and dont wash your face too often otherwise it might dry it out.

Is there a way I can lose a significant amount of weight without having hanging skin?

I'm 30 and I have a large amount of weight to lose. I've already lost 40 pounds but I'm beginning to worry about sagging skin. I know resistance training with weights will help and crunches, etc., but what kinds of exercises and how long each day should I work out? Thanks. Is there a way I can lose a significant amount of weight without having hanging skin?
Also, losing the weight slowly and gradually should help your skin adjust. Is there a way I can lose a significant amount of weight without having hanging skin?
When people lose weight fast from gastric bypass surgery they usually don't exercise or have a weight training plan to go along with it. I think the most popular approach now a days is the best. Calories in and Calories out. I would not try to lose more than 6 or 7 pounds a week. If you are exercising and weight training for at least 45 minutes every other day you should not end up with the loose skin that seems to happen with people. But again, for the most part everyone I have seen with the loose skin are either maybe in their 60's or are just dieting and not exercising and toning. Always challenge yourself and be proud of who you are and what you have the potential to become. Good luck on your journey to success in whatever method you decide works best for you.
Just stay true to yourself and be committed about this decision.

-Exercise regularly to tighten and tone problem areas

    -Follow a healthy diet plan

-Do resistance training 3 times a week to build new muscle for the skin to adhere to

    -Count calories

-Don鈥檛 follow an extremely restrictive diet

    -Drink a lot of water

    -Lose weight slowly

-Talk to your doctor about healthy weight loss options

~I wish you the best of luck.
Yes as long as you are being faithful with taking GOOD vitamins, lots of vitamin E, (good for elasticity of skin) and working out while losing the weight. A really good one is doing 45 minutes on the elliptical. This will tone your body as you lose your weight which will result in more muscle and less hanging skin. Good Luck!

How do you shave so that your skin is smooth and completely hairless?

Is there a technique to it I don't know about? My armpit and pubic hair grow back really fast, and my skin there isn't soft anymore.. It kind of worries me..

How do you shave so that your skin is smooth and completely hairless?

Are there any disadvantages in using a facial scrub? Can it damage your facial skin?

I never had tried it before but I'm eager to try it now. Will I get some positive results? The skin on the face which is very soft and delicate, will it not be get scratch or is it really safe? Are there any disadvantages in using a facial scrub? Can it damage your facial skin?
I've heard to not use it very much --once a week maybe?

    and don't scratch too hard. . .

maybe do it as part of giving yourself a weekly facial. . .

    a facial=

    1. wash with regular soap

    2. steam face over pot of hot water for 10-20 minutes

    3. scrub face with facial scrub

    4. use a face masque --milk of magnesia, for example

    5. rinse face masque and use toner --witch hazel, for example

    3 and 4 may be reversed, I can't remember

best of luck! Are there any disadvantages in using a facial scrub? Can it damage your facial skin?
Too much of anything is bad, and the same goes for a facial skin. Scrubs are abrasive and using them too often will damage the skin as facial tissyes are quite delicate.

If you have an oily skin use a scrub once a fortnight to remove the dirt, grime, oil, dead cells.

A dry skin would require you to use the scrub once a month.
Scrubs are used to remove the dead facial skin. Normally its advised to use it once a week. Spread it gently on your face and rub in circular motion, then wash it off with lots of water. The only care you have to take is to not to overuse it and not to rub in hard. I would also recommend st. Ives apricot scrub. Its too gentle. I have been using it for like over 9 years now.
i think that if you wash your face with a facial scrub too harshly, it can damage your skin. also, it think it's recommended to only use a facial scrub twice a week, unless if you have super oily skin.
I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE HARMFUL BUT DID YOU KNOW YOU ARE SUPPOSE TO EXFOLIATE YOUR FACE ONCE EVERYDAY.WHEN YOU START DOIN IT AND YOU GO WITHOUT DOIN IT YOU REALLY SEE A DIFFERENCE.I GUESS IT DEPENDS ON YOUR SKIN AND WHAT PRODUCT YOU USE.BUT IT DID ME SOME JUSTICE!
there is no disavantage. only thing use the srubb properly. dont rub too much this may damage your skin
I use St. Ives apricot scrub. It's only about $3, but it works great. I use it everyday. I'm not sure if that's good to do, but my complexion has been looking great since I started. It gets rid of blackheads and oil without drying out your skin. When you use a facial scrub, just be gentle. Unless you're really rough when you scrub your face, it won't scratch up your face at all.

Dog has razor burn from grooming: What can I apply to his skin to give his very pink skin some relief?

He's so itchy and pink... he hardly has any hair left. Obviously, this is not what I asked the groomer to do, but it happened. Is there any relief for my pup?Dog has razor burn from grooming: What can I apply to his skin to give his very pink skin some relief?
I would recommend that you call your vet in the am- there are a couple of different things that they could give you for relief of clipper burn. If you let me know how much your dog weighs, I can give you a dose for benedryl for tonight to help relieve some of that itching. But do call your vet in the am.Dog has razor burn from grooming: What can I apply to his skin to give his very pink skin some relief?
It happened to me just 2 weeks ago. I called Petco, said they will pay for everything, so I took my dog to the Vet, she recommended a cream, and a Cone to avoid licking the infected area, got billed for $73 which Petco paid full in cash :) I've asked my vet for any recommendations for a new Groomer Report Abuse

Go to the store and get some pure Aloe Vera gel to put on her skin. Also, bathe her with an oatmeal shampoo once a week, and then go and slap the groomer upside the head and ask for your money back! The Benadryl suggestion is good, too.
You can use aloe vera gel or hot spot treatment and I advise you to go back to the groomer asap with the dog and complain to the salon manager and get your money back and then find a better groomer. Call your vet and ask what treatment you can also do at home as far as Benedryl (like the previous answer said). Good luck and hopefully your pup will feel better soon:%26gt;)
Ouch, poor baby. You can safely put some Bag Balm on it, it was originally made for milking cows, but works well on other animals dealing with itching and rashes and razor burn.

You can also add a teaspoonful of mineral oil or even olive oil to his food, this helps with itching and hot spots. Our vet recommends this for our pets.

You should check with your vet, a lot of times Benadryl can be safely given to dogs to cut down on the itchiness.

Hope your furbaby feels better and less itchy soon.
Do you have any aloe vera cream that you would use on a sunburn ??? Or even a lotion that doesn;t have a lot or perfume in it ' Solaircaine spray , anything that will keep the skin from drying out , Drying is what causes the itch , anything that you have to soothe sunburn will soothe his skin to but rub it in very good to avoid him from licking Use just a little bit so he doesn;t lick and get sick to his stomach . Let me know if this helps him ok

  • Is it okay to write on your skin with sharpies?

I know some tattoo artists do it, but I wanna know if its okay? Like won't absorb in my blood stream or anything? Is it okay to write on your skin with sharpies?
one layer of sharpie is probably fine. The ink has toxins in it that are bad for your blood stream. So really, the only danger is if you write on yourself and the write over it again once it starts to fade. Repeatedly writing will push the earlier ink farther into your skin and won't allow it to just sluff off naturally. So one layer is 99% safe. Just let it get off of you before doing it again in the same area :) Hope that helped!

What is the name of the book about a boy who wears a bear skin and raises two bear cubs?

I remember that it involved a secluded lake and that the boy feeds the cubs, after their mother gets poached, by fishing and leaving the fish in a pile by the lake. He raises them for an entire summer up until they go into hibernation, which he has to teach them to do.What is the name of the book about a boy who wears a bear skin and raises two bear cubs?
Well I was thinking at first that it might be ';The Jungle Book,'; but now i'm thinking that the story you're talking about could be ';Bearskin'; by Howard Pyle...it's a children's story. Age range 5-8. So i'm not sure if that's what you're talking about, but you can check it out on barnes and noble. Hope this helps some. :)

What can you put on rough dry skin like your heels that are rough enough to wear a hole in a new pair socks?

I've tried all kinds of stuff like Aloe and scraping off the real rough stuff and then putting a lotion on them but they just dry right back out again. Anyone have any good idea or remedies? Serious inquiries only...What can you put on rough dry skin like your heels that are rough enough to wear a hole in a new pair socks?
    Its a daily battle!

Pumice stone them every night and put on Norwegian Fisherman's hand cream (available in shops and on line). Put it on again in the morning. Every day follow the same routine and you will get there eventually. Don't take too much each day with the pumice, little and often to take it down gradually so it does not become sore; What can you put on rough dry skin like your heels that are rough enough to wear a hole in a new pair socks?
First and foremost----go get a pedicure, and make sure you get the callous remover treatment. Then after that go and buy some foot cream-local grocery store will have it, like Dr. Shool's foot care line. Then every night before bed rub the cream into your heels and put on a pair of clean cotton socks. In about a week your feet will be baby smooth. Also get yourself a pumice stone and use it in the shower everyday. Weather you are a male or a female, pedicures are the absolute BEST way to keep your feet healthy.
try olive oils and try beeswax--they sell it at dollar general
I had the same problem and I use Bag Balm. You can get it at walmart, don't get anything but the original in a green square tin can. Put a good amount on your feet then put socks on overnight and in the morning they will be soft. I do this 1-2 times a week to keep them that way. It is also good for dry elbows.
Buy a pumice stone and wash the scales off your heels, then

apply a good Shea butter cream.
Get thee to a pedicure! Nobody can do their own feet the way they can at the salon. After they scrape all the rough stuff off, use Shea butter on the heels and try not to wear sandals all the time (like birks or tevas) because it will come back faster.
soak feet as much as you can say each night if possible in plain soap water.then if you have pumice stone rub off excess dried skin, then you can use creams sold in stores for softness or i use plain vaseline.it works.but you should try to make this a regular relaxing time after showering.keep socks on if possible to keep in moisture from any solution you choose all night .happy scrubbing and enjoy the relaxing results.take care.chow 4 now.
Your heels did not get like that overnight, so it may take some work to clear it up. Continue soaking, then scrubbing, then moisturizing but do it at night before you go to bed.

After slathering your feet with a deep moisturizing lotion (try one for damaged skin), then put on clean cotton socks.

As you sleep, the heat from your body that gets trapped in the socks will also help to soften your skin and allow the moisturize to penetrate better.

    Good luck.
Well if you have heals like that, why don't you get a job in a furnature factory, they could use someone who is abe to sand wood, without having to waste money on purchasing sandpaper.
    7. I've used it on my feet with clean white cotton socks. Helps to soften up my feet and I think it absorbs better than baby oil.

    --------------------------------------鈥?br>

    6. Foot softener.

I started a line of Dead Sea skin care products 3 years ago. Despite all my efforts our sales are still low. I have a informative web site, I've posted every where on the net, I have a brochure I've mailed and emailed everywhere, I lost tons of money sending samples out. I've tried to recruit direct sales people as well as commission only business to business reps and I got no where. Is this just a failure business or what? I am working on a very small budget at this point and can't afford a national ad campaign should I just quit or what? How do I market my line of skin care products?
I've been successfully self-employeed for over 30 years. I realize you've spent a lot of time and money on your skin care products and probably won't like what I'm about to say.(You might want to get a consultation with a mass media marketing person to hear the truth of what I'm about to tell you. )

It is repulsive to think of the word ';DEAD'; when it comes to putting something on my skin when I want my skin to be alive and vibrant.

You might want to think of some other way to describe and label your products. Such as ';Skin Care Products from the Sea';.

Often times we get so in love with our products/inventions we don't grasp whether our approach is marketable.

If you have a body scrub or facial scrub, that will help. Otherwise Lava soap will work. How can i get paint off my skin?
If it's latex paint then soap, warm water and a little scrubbing will take care of it. If it's oil paint, then you will need thinner or a cleaner designed for oil paint to take it off. In a pinch, I've heard that gasoline will take it off too. You certainly want to wash any thinner or other stuff off with soap and water after the paint is gone. Thinner will burn your skin if you leave it on too long.
Paint thinner will do the trick, be careful for any open cuts, it might sting. Good luck with your room project, the thinner will work!
Turpentine, or to be easier on your skin, soak in a hot tub and use baby oil. It will come off easily.
Use Finger Nail Polish and Then Take a Warm Shower/Bath
    I use nail polish remover!
    use soap and water

I would have the vet take a look. He can scrape some off and look under the scope to see if it is just allergies, or if it a parasite. Mites cause this as well as scabies.

Men, women, children. Need to change your diets to cut out as much red meat and pork as possible. Eat more fresh vegetables and fresh organic fruits and drink between 6 to 8 bottles of pure water every day. By the time you are well past middle age people you know will be begging you to tell them what anti-aging stuff you are using. Also whenever you feel the urge because something about your skin is giving you the heeby-jeebies. Try taking a shower with an all-natural herbal soap, after rinsing and patting yourself dry, apply aloe vera gel from the plant directly to the affected area and leave on over night. Do this for a few weeks and your skin will clear up.
Currel lotion is reasonable priced and really works
I understand what you mean. Microdermibrasion is excellent as it resurfaces the skin - but you have to keep it up every 1-2 weeks for at least 6 times - depending on how deep the pitted skin is and the age of the scarring. Goodluck
The product line I am sharing with you is what I have used for 10 yrs. I not only use it myself but my clients can't get enough of it either!

If your problem is just surrounding your armpit, it may just be from use of deodorants. You may want to deter from using deodorants and replace it with skin care products containing Potash Alum.
i have the same problem and i have no idea how to fix it! i showed my doctor and he said that it was nothing to worry about BUT i want to know how to get rid of it grrr

How do I heal my really chapped skin?

I've just gotten over a really bad cold and the skin above my lips is really chapped. Is there any way that I can help it heal faster? How do I heal my really chapped skin?
Vaseline. I know a lot of people tend to freak out and say it clogs pores when I mention it to them, but just a little dab of it, especially in THAT area, gets rid of ANYTHING dry. I use it all over my face actually, since I have really bad bad dry skin. Vaseline also makes a great body lotion called Cocoa Butter deep conditioning with cocoa butter and vitamin E, ive been using that on my face too and it makes my face glow and super soft. Regular household Vaseline will seriously make a difference, though. Its also good for your eyelashes and lips. (Even though it tastes disgusting.)How do I heal my really chapped skin?

What is the best type of face cleanser and moisturizer to use on sensitive skin?

See, I have sensitive skin and ezcema (skin allergy) (which probably causes my skin to be sensitive). Anyway, I can't use a lot of products because they are too harsh for my skin. I have some acne (which is some part to do with the ezcema) and some dryness. I use Aveeno Clear Complexion cleanser, but I don't really see it making a difference in my skin's appearance as it says it does. But, it doesn't make it worse, like drying it out or making it read and irritated. So, what are the best products to use???What is the best type of face cleanser and moisturizer to use on sensitive skin?
    THIS WORKS FAST %26amp; CHEAP!!!

I used Tetracyclin, Proactive, Retina A and had many expensive facials with less than good results.

This has worked for me and many many other happy people.

Go to pharm.,Drug store, or Walmart, buy ';PURPOSE'; bar of soap - Blue box - Made by Johnson %26amp; Johnson - wash your face with this

2-3x's per day. Also pick up a LOW strength Benzoyl-peroxide cream, apply the cream by dabbing

to the individual blemishes.... DONT rub it in works using a oxidation/reduction reaction..It will unclog

dry it out and bring it to a head...DONT over use this or put anywhere else on your face. It will cause drying and make you look worse.

Salicylates such as found in regular asprin among other products work very similar but also remove layers of skin...

other over the counter creams with this product will dry out pimples but maybe too hash and cause surrounding skin trauma..

I have seen many people recommending crushing asprin and making a paste which probably will dry out the blemish but again

pretty strong and probably will cause more tissue damage and bigger scars as an anti inflammatory

probably would take the reddness out... again pretty harsh for sensative skin.

Also, If need which probably will for moisture ASK FOR ';NUTRADERM lotion'; - the orginal not the new stuff, this works

great and wont clog pores or leave a residue on your skin...Any lotion that is completely oil free and hypoallergic should

work but again I recommend Nutraderm. I have heard from people online that ';Purpose'; also makes a lotion that is good, Nutragena, and Nivea

make good products also. I recommend Nutraderm from experience and my dematologist.

';Purpose Bar'; %26amp; ';Nutraderm'; are oil free and hypoallergic they contain no perfumes and are great for both men and women.

I have also heard great reports of this soap helping improve skin tone. Some people recommend the ';Purpose luqid soap'; saying

that the bar did dry out their skin some. The rational behind using the bar is that there are no ingredients in it that will clog pores, and

according to dermatologists they recommend the Bar. I have also heard good responses from ';cetaphil soap';. These products are safe for all skin colors and tones. I highly discourage use

of Proactive and other harsh chemicals for people with some natural color in their face due to the bleaching and drying effect it has

    shown in many many people.

Additonal TIPS: acne, pimples, etc are frequently cause by a bacteria or hormone issues that cause clogging of pores.

DONT PICK POP POKE (your hands are the dirtiest part of your body) and will cause: infections, spreading of germs, more breakouts and scarring

DONT EVER listen to people online who tell you to scrub your sensative skin or use harsh chemicals

such as: Lemon juice, vinagar, alcohol, etc... DONT EVER use that APRICOT CRAP!!! DONT USE

PROACTIVE- this is expensive and harsh it may kill the bacteria cause also Benzoyl based wash but

will irritate skin and cause bleaching of face and neck.... Other similar treatments may work.. also

things such as Accutane but have SERIOUS side effects such as Major Depression, %26amp; birth defects in unborn children, among others

If you wear make up make sure it is oil free, %26amp; hypoallergic...Eating healthy...Drinking plenty of water.. changing pillow cases freq.

etc ...avoiding dirty sports equp. such as helmets...can not hurt...Acne/pimples again are caused by pores/hair follicles becoming plugged

up, this plugging then causes an inflammatory reaction - reddness and infection (pimple)..black head is dirt trapped in pore, while a white

head is the same thing you just dont see the dirt instead you see white pus (lymphocytes that accumulate in the area to fight the infection)

It has been shown in many studies this most often not caused by what you eat (chocolate etc... or how clean you are) but most often by either excess oils plugging pores or a bacteria

on the skins surface. - Proactive works in some people because it is a strong Benzoyl peroxide based washed but is most freq. to strong

for people with sensative skin - this is why alot of people get excessive drying and flaking, rashes, bleaching or breakouts from the product.

Retina-A does decrease the bacterial growth on your face but also removes dead/living skin, this can work well in some individuals and

has been shown to reduce wrinkles and scars but again I feel this is pretty harsh on sensative skin prone to breakouts. If you choose

Retina-A never use this product during the day only at night due to the sensativity it will give you to the sun. You must also get a perscription

for this product and I really don't believe it is worth the damage it does to your skin. In some rare cases for very deep/large boils and cyst types

of pimples oral antibiotics maybe needed but I would first recommend trying ';purpose'; and a low dose ';benzoyl-peroxide cream'; along with a good

oil free moisturizer ';Nutraderm... etc'; this does work well.

THIS WORKS FAST AND CHEAP!!! I no longer get expensive facials, take oral antibiotics, or even NEED makeup... I am very happy - Have

very good skin... and have many many other happy friends... THANKS again to my WONDERFUL

DERMATOLOGIST... TRY THIS!! GOOD LUCK.... PS. ';PURPOSE'; costs about $3 ----------------------------------------鈥?br>

----PSSS---sorry so long I have to keep adding more information to this to address common questions that always being asked....

If your dermatologist hasn't recommended any suitable products to you, you might want to make an appointment and have work out your concerns with him/ her before using any new products.

Generally, hypoallergenic products are good for sensitive skin.
i like proactiv. it's a bit expensive but it works very well.
Have you tried Almay? They are hypo-allergenic and great products.

Cetaphil is good for sensitive skin.
hey ,i am sagsuet u realy best idea u can visit here there are realy good for u http://skincarefairy.com/
I also have very sensitive skin and have found that Avon Solutions facial cleanser Keep It Clean and Moisure 24 are a good cleaner and moisturizer combp for me. No irritation!!
I use Cetaphil, rinse well and then put on an oil-free moisturizer.
Cetaphil product line is affordable and recommended by many dermatologists I know. I use it and it's an excellent and very gentle moisturizer.

I also take some of the Cetaphil moisturizer and add some zinc cream to it and mix it well as a night time moisturizer. The zinc helps calm angry, itchy and inflamed skin. It's also an antibacterial, so it helps with infections that can result from rashes.

My complaint is rosacea, but it's treatments are often quite effective for ezcema too.
Try Oil of Olay moisturizer for sensitive skin!
