I am filling a questionnare for my appointment for acne.
They ask what type of skin I have.
I have oily skin, but some areas can be dry when I wash my face with water. But after few minutes, oils will produce, making the dryness disappear.
So is this considered oily and dry skin? What is considered oily AND dry skin?
Or should I mark that I only have oily skin? Thank you.How can you have oily AND dry skin?
First of all,it is possible to have both oily and dry skin although only on certain areas. This would be called combination skin type where your skin is oily on the T-Zone areas and dry on the cheek areas. If you have this kind of situation, you're most probably have combination skin type. However,if you're skin is totally oily even though only at certain areas, then you have oily skin.Hope this helps(:
P/s:The reason that they are asking for your skin type is to prescribe the right acne medication for your skin type.If you're not really sure regarding this, ask them to get you a skin analysis during your appointment.Good luck with your appointment(:How can you have oily AND dry skin?
I would imagine that 'oily and dry,' would described skin that is oily in some places and dry in others.
