Why do my veins show through my skin in my legs and chest area? How can I stop this?

I know it's been like this in my upper leg/ thigh area for a while but I just noticed it in my chest. It bothers me now. Is everyone like this? It's not like just a few that I can see here and there. I can see all of them. They're kind of green in color and I see where the connect too. Could it be because it's winter and I just have lighter skin color in that area? Why do my veins show through my skin in my legs and chest area? How can I stop this?
You may have answered your own question. I don't know if this could be it, but I know when I was pregnant my veins showed A LOT more than usual. I guess because of all the extra blood. I am very light completed and my veins show quite a lot more when I am cold particularly in my wrists and hands. Certain veins are closer to the skin and of course show thru a bit more. Just a side note though, dependant upon what color your veins look, you mentioned that they look green, then that is your base color, so when you are looking for cosmetics, you need to try to get a foundation that corrects this with a bit of a pink undertone, since your undertone is green. Why do my veins show through my skin in my legs and chest area? I'm surprised you didn't mention your hands. That's usually the first place where our skin gets thin. It's called getting old!

If you're only in your 20's, then it's something else, and you should see your doctor.

Bless you and good luck! :)
