My daughter has the dryest patch of skin on her forehead. How do I get rid of it?

The doctor just said to brush it out but I don't feel it's cradle cap. Only because it looks like snake skin or something of the sort. I've been trying to moisturize it with the johnson %26amp; johnson's cheek balm but it's barely been working. Is there anything else I could put on it. It's the roughest piece of skin I've ever seen and she such a cute baby(not just 'cause she's mine) but the patch is killer. My daughter has the dryest patch of skin on her forehead. try a vaselline cream or also vitamin E it moisterizes dry skin and makes it smooth in about 3 weeksMy daughter has the dryest patch of skin on her forehead. How do I get rid of it?
my son had this on his ears (weird huh lol) but nothing would work (im a total natural ingrdients nazi :) so i use natural ingredients for everything and olive oil didnt work for my bub) so id suggest pure sorbolene cream it worked wonders for my bub; so id rub some in, then lather some more on top to soften it... the best thing is do is to do this again about 1-2 hours before a bath then wash her hair as normal..after waards when dressing her use a soft toothbrush or hair brush and rub it around and bits (even if it isnt cradle cap) will fall off softly so it wont hurt her... using the brush works like an exfoliant which is needed for dry skin

good luck
i think its hard to determine if its cradle cap or not. my son has a hard/dry patch on the top of his head that also looks like snake skin but i just make sure to brush through it really good when shampooing it and then i apply baby lotion afterwards. its kinda hard to work through the hair but it seems to be working. i had tried using baby oil but that didnt help.
It just sounds like a patch of eczema. My daughter had really bad eczema when she was born. So, mom told me to use Aveeno Oatmeal products. I did, and within a month of bathing her daily in the oatmeal, using oatmeal lotion, etc her skin was smooth as a baby's bottom. So, try that. I can almost guarantee it will work.
You can try baby oil of vaseline. That does sound like cradle cap though. Moisturize it then wash away excess oil/vaseline. Keep clean %26amp; dry %26amp; gently scrape/brush away as able to.

johnsons is likely to irritate your baby's skin more (all their products brought my son out in a rash) use something unperfumed like vaseline or olive oil
Try olive oil at nights, a big healthy amount right on there.
