What is the best remedy for dry skin?

I have very sensitive dry skin and I find that constant exfoliation and moisturizer seem to help, but it also causes my skin to break out. Help! What is the best remedy for dry skin?
Drink lots of water. Constant exfoliation can irritate the skin and I would recommend that. Neutrogena and Aveeno have really good lotions; have you tried those? What is the best remedy for dry skin?
Shea Butter is the very best natural moisturizer for your skin, and it is all natural. You can now find some at Walmart for a reasonable price.
Where is the dry skin. If it is on your face, you may want to try the Mary Kay line (no, I do not sell MK, I've just been using it for years) If it's on your body, Eucerin is great stuff.
The best moisturizing products I have found are available through Nutrimetics by Avalla. The products are naturally based. Nutrimetics offers highly effective and economical products that contain no cheap fillers, harsh chemicals or petro-chemicals (e.g., mineral oil, drying alcohols, or animal by-products).

The best product for moisturization is called Nutri-Rich Oil. It was the founding product of Nutrimetics. It is also an excellent anti-aging product. There was a group of people called the Hunzas that were written about in National Geographic. They used apricot kernel oil to prevent wrinkles and the signs of aging. This group of people lived to be well into their 80s and 90s with NO wrinkles.

Nutri-Rich Oil contails this jewel, apricot kernel oil. In fact, it takes 42 pounds of apricots to make just one jar. This is an awesome nighttime treatment for your face. Just use a pea-sized drop every night before bed for soft skin that will be fighting wrinkles. It is also a good product for dry elbows, heels, burns, scars, protection from the hair dryer damaging your hair, a dollop will soften your entire body if you add it to your bath water, great for diaper rash, too. This product will last about 10 months if you are only using a 1/2 pea to a pea sized amount once a day. It is worth its weight in gold!!

You can order online at the website below (http://www.myavalla.com/us/pwp/jmarshali鈥?/a> by using passcode E896670009711252C on the left hand side of the screen under Passcode.

Johnson's Baby Lotion... I also have VERY dry and sensitive skin. This is the only lotion that makes my skin very moisturized, soft, and it smells great. It doesn't irritate my skin and it's real smooth skin (always get compliments)
Heres the best answer, like i would give you a specific lotion but might not work for you cause everyone has diff types of skin, i used to have kind of dry skin now my skin is like soft, one way you could get Cocoa butter with mango, for dry skin or just go to the dermatologist, they will help you get your skin undry, i know somone who went to dermatologist and had dry skin tah cuased his skin to look ashy all the time, it look like it would peel off, so they went to dermatologiast got this special lotion and it worked, it had mango, cocoa butter and other medical things and it was amazing how it worked, yeah you need to go to a dermatologist, you will help your skin faster, than buying lotion from the store, that could be allergic to but dont know, just the same way as you being a very high fever, you always go to the doctor, or if you dont you should. i would say dermantologist, plus they are easy to find look it up either on internet or yellow pages
cocunut oil... it works!!! i use it everynight... and right now my face is smooth, clear, and hydrated!!! good luck!
Curel...I swear by it!
i think a warm soak in the tub to open your pores then rub in lots of baby oil and sleep with this overnight
try aveeno or jergens
