Does anyone know a good at home remedy for removing thorns from under your skin?

I fell of my bike while trail riding in the woods and got 3 thorns stuck under my skin. I was able to pull one out because it was slightly sticking above the surface of my skin, but the other two are completely under the surface. I don't want to wait for it to ';work it's way out'; because the one I pulled was over 1/4'; long and it hurts having them in there.

Thanks in advance for the help!Does anyone know a good at home remedy for removing thorns from under your skin?
Soak in hot water (as hot as you can stand without burning yourself) add some epsom or epson salt(sry, don't know how its spelled) or if you don't want to buy that you can just add some regular table salt, soak in this until the water is at least just warm, longer if you have the time. The thorns should come right up to the surface and then get some tweezers and pluck them out. Good luck and God Bless.Does anyone know a good at home remedy for removing thorns from under your skin?
A drawing salve like ichthammol ointment or even boil ease will push them out. Just smear it on and cover loosely with a bandage.

With it being a thorn, you should be concerned about getting an infection or having a toxic reaction. The best advice is to see a doctor or go to a walk-in clinic and have them remove the thorns.. but you said home remedy which is why I suggested the ointments.
sterilize a pair of tweezers over a flame. Allow it to cool and pull the splinter/thorn out straight. Immediately wash the area with soap and water. Apply a cream and a band-aid.
you've gotta chew'em out thats obviously the most civiled method
Take toenail clippers and cut the top layer of skin off above the thorn. Then you can pull the skin apart and the thorn should pop out to where you can pull it the rest of the way out. The skin will grow back in a few days and the soreness is not too bad.

Clean it thoroughly with peroxide to keep from getting infected.
Use a sewing needle (sterilized first) and gently work around the thorn. This is less drastic than using clippers to cut the skin.

Then try squeesing the thorn out with your fingers.

This worked for me with fine wood splinters buried under my skin.

A saline (salt and water) is also good for disinfecting.
