What are the signs of having dry skin?

I have dry skin a long time ago and since I didn't ask this question yet, what should I do to break up the dry skin? Signs maybe? What are the signs of having dry skin?
You hands start to feel tighter as you close and open them. Or you notice more wrinkles on you hands. Discoloration on them too. Theres more reddness to them. Just be sure to always use intense lotion, since you have a background of having dry skin. And try to use some sort of a buffer to take of dead skin cells. Maybe a hand wash with soft beads to get rid of the skin. Try even using mostierizing gloves at night. What are the signs of having dry skin?
Next time you are in the pharmacy, pop open the tops of different hand/body lotions on the shelves and see if you like the way they smell BEFORE you buy one. Chances are better that you will use the lotion if you enjoy its scent.
a good moisturizing lotion without fragrance, and make sure you drink plenty of fluids (water).
It'll be rough, what that other girl said with the hands feeling tight as you form a fist. I reccomend aveeno daily moisturizing lotion, It works on my regular dry skin.
